Fine Stitch works on alterations, remodelling, and upcycling for clothing that deserves a better fit or a new life.

Garment remodelling with care

We begin with a garment assessment, then discuss what can be changed based on the fabric, construction, and your fit goals. That keeps each project clear from the start.

From dress and skirt remodelling to shirt and jacket restyling, our work is shaped around the garment in front of us, not a fixed template.

Our story

A practical approach to redesign

Fine Stitch was founded in 2016 to give garments a more useful second chapter through practical tailoring and redesign.

Every project starts with a conversation about the garment, the material, and the result you want to achieve. If a concept needs adjusting, we explain the limits before work begins.

For redesign projects, the quote is prepared after the material and design review, and concept approval is required before remodelling starts.

We also provide written alteration scope, care and pressing notes, and original thread and trim matching where available.
